Alpe-Adria Diagnostic Cytology Symposium v organizaciji: Slovensko združenje veterinarjev za male živali / Ordine dei Medici Veterinari della provincia di Udine / Österreichische Tierärztekammer— Landesstelle Kärnten, od 20. - 21. oktobra 2018 v CMA Stift Ossiach (jezero Ossiach), Carinthia / Avstrija.
This seminar is designed for veterinary practitioners with just some basic knowledge in diagnostic cytology as well as for practitioners with far more experience who strive to expand their skills in this diagnostic field.
For „beginners“ an overview on cytologic techniques (indications, taking samples, preparation techniques) will be offered, more advanced people will have the possibility in parallel sessions to look intensively into the field of organ cytology.
The main topics of this 12 hours symposium thus will be the cytologic evaluation of neoplastic and non neoplastic skin lesions as well as the evaluation of cytologic samples from liver, spleen,
urogenital tract, gastrointestinal tract and respiratory tract.
Apart from the lectures a 5 hours workshoph with self-microscopy will be the skills to illustrate general principles of cytology, the interpretation of a wide range of inflammatory and neoplastic lesions and to go together through interesting clinical cases.
The lectures are held in English.
The registration is limited to 50 participants.
