10. Alpe-Adria Diagnostic Cytology Symposium
This seminar is designed for those veterinary practitioners with some basic knowledge and of diagnostic cytology as well as for practitioners with more experience who strive to expand their skills in this diagnostic field.
The beginners level will cover the principles of blood smear evaluation, while the participants of the advanced level will have the opportunity to discuss cases of organ cytology and chosen hematopoietic disorders. The combined level will focus on cytology of the lymphoid tissues and bone marrow cytology.
The main topics of this 12–hour symposium will thus be the cytologic evaluation of blood smears and bone marrow, as well as the evaluation of cytologic samples from internal organs and lymphoid tissues .
Apart from the lectures a 5-hour workshop with selfmicroscopy will be offered to illustrate the general principles of cytology, the interpretation of a wide range of samples and to go together through interesting practical cases.
The lectures are held in English.
The registration is limited to 50 participants.
